Favorite Things Party Gift Ideas for $15

October 17, 2017

In a few weeks I’ll be hosting a favorite things brunch for the ladies in my family. It’s a tradition I started a few years ago that the ladies in my family seem to really enjoy and look forward to each year. Last year’s New Years Eve Favorite Things Brunch and 2015’s Christmas Brunch were both so much fun, but I decided to switch up the season and host a fall brunch this year. I can’t wait to host the brunch in a few weeks and share all the photos and fun here!

Choosing my favorite thing to bring and swap at the brunch has been more challenging this year than in years past. We keep the dollar amount at $15 per favorite thing, and each guest is asked to bring two of the items. In years past guests have brought faux fur blankets, gift cards to favorite places, Christmas decorations, tote bags, books, etc. This year, I have several ideas as to what my favorite thing(s) should be, but I haven’t actually purchased anything yet. Here are a few of the ideas I’m tossing around.

Gift Idea #1: Mrs. Myers Products

I use Mrs. Myers cleaning products daily in my home. I’ve tried most of the scents, but lavender continues to be my absolute favorite. I think anyone would appreciate a trio of awesome cleaning products paired with one of these cute dish brushes.

Gift Idea #2: Mums

Mums are my absolute favorite way to decorate my home outside for fall, so these would make a beautiful gift. And, who knew you could purchase mums on Amazon? I’ve spotted several places locally selling mums in some really pretty pots within the $15 price range.

Gift Idea #3: Mug Cakes with Various Toppings

source

Have you tried these mug cakes yet? My absolute favorite flavor is the carrot cake with a drizzle of caramel sauce over the top. YUM! And, it’s the perfect fall flavor combination. I think a few flavors of these mug cakes with various toppings or additions would make a scrumptious and fun basket. Other flavors include Cookies & CreamS’mores, Lemon, Pineapple, Strawbery, and more! All of the boxes suggest various add-ins or toppings, which makes flavor combinations effortless.

Now, I just have to choose which favorite thing(s) to give. Help!
