I love how the girls over at eighteen25 take turns each Friday sharing five of their favorite things. Whether it’s a new family photo, a blog article or a place they’ve visited, I always enjoy the read. Hopefully, they won’t mind if I do my own Friday Favorite Five List. I love sharing my favorite things here on this blog, so expect to see posts like this in the future.
Candy Crush Saga
Are you playing this addictive little game? It’s a whole lot of fun. Travis sucked me into the world of Candy Crush Saga a couple of weeks ago.I haven’t managed to get out of it since, but I’m not complaining! If you’re looking for a new game to play, this might just be it.
Gift Planner Printable
I’m loving the gift planner printable from Liz at Life in Yellow. She has tons of other really useful printables, so I definitely recommend checking out her blog. This was intended for Christmas, and I’ve already printed one for my Christmas binder, but I’m also thinking this would be a handy resource to other gifts bought in advance. I’m hoping to organize all of my gift wrap soon, and I’m already planning on using this list to help me stay on top of the gift giving. If you love printables as much as I do, you might check out my Pinterest board dedicated just to printables.
We’ve finally taken the plunge and jumped head first into watching Doctor Who. We’re currently watching the the tenth doctor, played by David Tennant, who you might remember from “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” So far, we’ve finished up season one, with Christopher Eccleston playing the ninth doctor, and we’re well into season two. Between this and Downton Abbey, it’ll be amazing if I don’t develop a new accent.
Today is my Dad’s birthday; happy birthday Dad! (Yes, my Dad’s doppelgänger is Steven King.) The photo below was taken on vacation this year while we were at Pensacola Beach. Speaking of our vacation…
2013 Family Vacation
We went on vacation this year with my Dad and step-mom. It was a whirlwind week! Our first stop was Pensacola Beach, where we got plenty of beach time, rode a huge ferris wheel and visited with Florida family. We spent one night in New Orleans, where we ate some delicious cajun food and saw Wicked. It was amazing! From there, we went to Biloxi, where the parental units spent time in the casinos and Travis and I enjoyed exploring a bit. It was a wonderful trip!
The baby shower I’ve been planning for some dear friends is tomorrow, which means I need to get back to work. Wish me luck! I can’t wait to share with you all the details.
