I’m hosting another baby shower soon! This baby shower will be quite different from the Pretty in Pink [and zebra] Baby Shower I hosted back in March. I’m so looking forward to sharing all of the details with you during the next couple of months.
I’ve created a pin board on Pinterest, but I’ve had to make it private in order to conceal all of the details from the mom to be. So, I thought it might be fun to share what I’ve been pinning. (Next week I’ll share what I’ve accomplished from my pinspiration during the Pinterest Challenge.)
I’ve already put together my own “Feed the Pig” piggy bank originally seen here. I absolutely love this idea, and I’m hoping shower guests get a kick out of it, too.
I’ve already utilized several free printables, and the birdie above is one of my favorites! I placed it in a turquoise frame, and it is absolutely precious. I also had the coordinating favor tags printed. I’m thinking about using them in the place of gift cards, and I’m sure I’ll be able to find several other uses for them as well.
I’ve asked a local baker to create the cake above for the shower. The cake will be strawberry and will have matching vanilla cupcakes. Yum! I’ve got come cute things to dress up the cupcakes. However, I still would like to find a pretty cake stand similar to the one above.
I created a onesie line for the Pretty in Pink [and zebra] baby shower, but this baby shower needs a different approach. I love the idea of framing the onesies. I’m happy to report that this project is already well underway.
A big inspiration for this baby shower is mason jars. I think they’re perfect for the expecting parents and the kind of shower I hope to plan for them.
I’ve got a lot in the works for this baby shower, and I can’t wait to show you everything very soon!
